We are currently looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to work alongside the existing maintenance team. The successful candidate will have a wealth of painting & decorating experience as you will be expected to complete tasks to a high standard, and be able to work with minimum supervision.

You'll need to be positive, have the ability to adapt and improvise to solve problems and create great solutions for customers. A happy amenable attitude, with good vocal and social skills to interact with customers and works team.

A clean driving license is required as you will be working across a variety of sites in a company vehicle.

 

Job role will include:

• Surface preparation, stripping, caulking, filling and sanding 

• Paper hanging 

• Application of emulsion and gloss by brush and roller

• Application of specialist coatings by airless sprayer 

• Internal and External decorations 

• Working at height

• Working in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets.

 

Knowledge and experience of other trades and general maintenance is advantageous, we would welcome candidates who would like to progress to train on-the-job in another trade. 

You will be required to undertake CSCS certification to achieve a minimum of a 'Labourer' status.
